Inside a lesson

What a typical lesson looks like

Every lesson lasts 30 minutes and always follows the same rhythm, so the child knows what to expect. It starts and ends with something cheerful.

  1. 01

    We greet in Italian

The first words are always the same: buongiorno, come stai? They become a ritual, and after a few lessons the child says them unprompted.

  2. 02

    A game to revise

We revisit last time's words through a game or a song, so they come back without any studying.

  3. 03

    Something new

A few new words at a time, always tied to a picture or a drawing to colour in while we speak.

  4. 04

    We end with a story

A short story or a nursery rhyme to finish happily, and to make the lesson feel like a treat rather than a chore.

FAQ

Parents' questions

What age do you start from?

From age 5 up. For younger children I recommend 30-minute lessons; older ones can do 45 or 60.

My child doesn't speak any Italian. Is that okay?

Absolutely. We start from zero and I can explain in English or Spanish for as long as needed.

What do we need for the lesson?

Just a computer or tablet and a connection. I prepare the games and materials.

Can I stay during the lesson?

Yes, especially at the start. Many parents sit in for the first few lessons and then step away once the child feels confident.

How much does it cost?

The first trial lesson is free. After that, €25 per hour, or €220 for a 10-lesson package.
